2. Who is the target audience?
The Beloved Parish Edition has been structured for flexible use in either a Marriage Preparation or Marriage Enrichment setting. The Leader and Couple’s Guides are created with these two focuses in mind.
The Beloved Home Edition has been structured for use by couples at home with more focus on personal reflection.

The Complete Beloved Series is 12 episodes/sessions and focuses on the foundation and theology of the Sacrament of Marriage in The Mystery and Meaning of
Marriage (6 episodes) and the practical life skills and virtues needed for a successful marriage in Living Marriage (6 episodes). Both parts are included in
one Beloved DVD Box Set and cannot be purchased separately.
6. How many episodes are in the Beloved Parish Edition and how long are they?
The Beloved Parish Edition is comprised of 12 Episodes, with an average length of 28 minutes per episode. The shortest episode is 18 minutes and the longest episode is 48 minutes.

No. The same video presentations are used for Marriage Preparation and Marriage Enrichment. There are different Couple’s Guides for marriage prep and
marriage enrichment that lead couple’s to reflect on the presentations according to their state in life. The Leader’s Guide has material to lead both
marriage prep and enrichment.

12. What is included in the Beloved Home Edition?
The Beloved Home Edition contains six sessions on three DVDs, plus two couple’s guidebooks for marriage enrichment (packaged in the box set).
13. What is the difference between the Beloved Home Edition and the Beloved Parish Edition?
This specially recut Beloved Home Edition features six specially cut episodes, and two couple’s guidebooks for marriage prep and enrichment
(packaged in the box set). The full-length Parish Edition contains the content needed to run Marriage Prep and Marriage Enrichment programs at a parish-level.
14. Can I see a samples of the Video, Study Guide, and Leader Guide?
15. How can we use Beloved in conjunction with Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained?
Beloved is an extension of the Sacraments portion of the Symbolon program. A couple that has the foundation of Symbolon would be well equipped to do
the Beloved Marriage Prep & Marriage Enrichment program.
16. Do the DVDs include closed captioning?
The current DVDs do not have closed captioning. We hope to make this feature available in the future, but there are no definitive plans at this time.
17. Is this program available in Spanish?
No. We recognize the need for spanish language resources and we hope to make Beloved available in Spanish in the future, but there are no definitive plans at this time.
18. Are these DVDs optimized for International Use?
The DVD is “NTSC”, which means it only plays in certain countries (i.e. US, Canada, Philippines). In the future we are hoping to release a “PAL” version (which is used in Europe,
Australia), but as of now there are no definitive plans. Click here for a list of countries that use PAL vs NTSC.
19. Can I stream Beloved videos online?
Yes! Beloved is now streaming on FORMED.org for parishes and individuals with a subscription.
