At one point in the talk Vinny brought me to tears when he told about how Jesus told Sr. Faustina that sinners have first access to His Mercy and the greatest right to His Love. I experienced a sudden revelation that all along God has been calling me so strongly not because of my righteousness, like I've been telling myself, but instead because I am a "sinner in most need of His Mercy." I enjoyed everything about it, I have listened to the CD like 6 times and I learn something new each time. It made me realize how mercifully God really is and that Jesus really wants us to trust him and not be afraid of him. I wish the whole world would realize how merciful God is because a lot of people run away from Jesus because they feel their sins are too great to be forgiven.What I love most about this talk is that God loves backwards. I really enjoyed the discussion on the stories of the prodigal son and the laborers in the fields. He is so right is stating that we think it's "just not fair" when really it is "just, not fair". We are not God and his plans are much bigger than ours. The discussion on how we tend to assume we're one of the sons but really we should be more like the father and "prodigal" with mercy and forgiveness towards others. Makes you think of how big God's love for us is-quite overwhelming. Feels too good to be true. A third point I liked was how he elaborated on the fact that God is outside of time so were/are, in fact, present during his Crucifixion. It is all connected much more intricately than we will ever be able to fathom. We just have to humble ourselves and realize that He will take care of us. Kate - Sylvania, OH

The idea that our devotion now consoled Christ on the cross, is astounding. Also, all of my life I had an innate belief that people have a last minute chance to accept Jesus, which was very comforting, especially in cases of suicide. To have that confirmed was encouraging.
